UPDATE: Martina McBride has just announced that she, too, has cancelled her upcoming show at SeaWorld as arguments swirl surrounding the company's treatment of orca whales.

On her Facebook page, she wrote: "I've decided that given all the issues that have been aired recently, the time isn’t right for me to play at Seaworld. I have cancelled my scheduled performance at the Bands, Blues & BBQ event in March 2014."

Trisha Yearwood is the latest country artist to pull out of doing a gig at SeaWorld in Orlando, Fla., after pressure from animal rights groups to do so.

“In light of recent concerns, Trisha has decided to remove the Feb. 22 date from her upcoming tour plans,” her rep said in a statement.

The concerns stem from the documentary Blackfish, which has allegations of abuse on orca whales at SeaWorld. And those concerns have some fans petitioning their favorite artists on Change.org to pull out of scheduled shows at the aqua-themed park.

Last week, Willie Nelson canceled an appearance there. Cheap Trick, Barenaked Ladies and Heart have also canceled SeaWorld shows.

Online petitioners are pressuring Justin Moore, Scotty McCreery and Martina McBride to cancel their SeaWorld shows as well.
