Country Weekly has learned that Chris Young’s condition has improved. The singer has been moved out of ICU to a regular room and is feeling better.

CW is wishing Chris a speedy recovery.

Chris Young Hospitalized

Aug. 14, 2013 – Chris Young has been admitted to a Denver hospital, where he is being treated for a leg infection. 

“One minute I was fine and the next I’m being rushed to the hospital,” Chris said in a statement.

Chris was en route to Kalispell, Mont., for a headlining show tonight (Aug. 14) when symptoms developed and he was rushed by ambulance to the hospital. The “Aw Naw” singer has, consequently, had to cancel his appearances on Brad Paisley’s Beat This Summer Tour through Aug. 17. That includes the Aug. 15 gig in Penticton, B.C.; Aug. 16 in Mission, B.C.; and Aug. 17 in Brownsville, Ore.

“I’m so sorry to disappoint the fans but I didn’t even know I was sick,” said Chris.

The origin of the infection is currently unknown. Country Weekly wishes sweet Chris a rapid recovery.
