Two ACM Winners Announced

The Academy of Country Music has announced the winners in two ACM Awards categories: Video of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year.

Brad Paisley is involved in both honors. Brad wins the Video of the Year award for "Waitin' on a Woman," which featured TV icon Andy Griffith in a cameo role. The award goes to Brad, directors Jim Shea and Peter Tilden and producers Jim Shea and Mark Kalbfeld. Brad's duet with Keith Urban, "Start a Band," was named the Vocal Event of the Year. The song's producer Frank Rogers and record label Arista Nashville also share in the award. More ACM winners will be announced on the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, Sunday, April 5, on CBS-TV at 8 p.m. ET.
