TRISHA'S NEW SINGLE IS RIGHT AS RAIN

You might say there's been a flood of positive responses to Trisha Yearwood's return to radio with her new single, "Georgia Rain." The song and the upcoming album it's from, Jasper County, are both very personal to the Georgia native. "I've always wanted to record a song about Georgia, but I didn't want to do something that'd been done a thousand times," said Trisha. When she first heard the song, she even contacted the writers to see if they could include a few things about Jasper County (where Trisha grew up), and they of course obliged. "I love story songs," added Trisha, "and 'Georgia Rain' really talks about love-and what happens later." The single, which also features Trisha's love, Garth Brooks, is already a Top 30 hit. Look for Jasper County in stores September 17.
