Trisha Yearwood to Star in Cooking Show on The Food Network

The as-yet-untitled series is set to air in April.

Is Trisha Yearwood getting ready to be The Food Network's next hottest television food personality? The Grammy-winning country singer will share some of her favorite Southern-style recipes during a six-episode cooking show.

The as-yet-untitled series will air in April and will feature Trisha sharing her family recipes for everything from Sunday dinners to family-reunion barbecues, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show is currently in production in Nashville.

Trisha has released two best-selling cookbooks, 2008's Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen and 2010's Home Cooking With Trisha Yearwood.
