Trisha Yearwood Joins Wright Fundraiser

Trisha Yearwood is the latest artist to join Chely Wright’s Reading, Writing & Rhythm benefit concert, to be held at the James K. Polk Theater at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville on Tuesday, June 8. The event begins at 8:00 p.m.

The lineup already includes performers Rodney Crowell, SHeDAISY, Buxton Hughes, Bucky Covington, Jamey Johnson and Justin Moore.

The event will also feature a silent auction featuring items by Keith Urban, Sugarland, Trace Adkins and others. Duo Buxton Hughes (comprised of Sarah Buxton and Jedd Hughes) will also host a live auction in the lobby of the theater. Items up for bid at the live auction include fly-away trips (with concert tickets, airfare and meet-and-greet passes) to concerts by Brooks & Dunn, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Alan Jackson and George Strait.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Tennessee schools affected by the recent flooding, including Kingston Springs Elementary School, located just outside Nashville.
