TRICK PONY'S LEAD SINGER CARRIES ON

Condolences to Trick Pony's Heidi Newfield, whose mother, Mary Ann Henthorn, died Sunday, Feb. 22 after fighting a long battle with multiple sclerosis. Heidi got word of her mother's passing just before Trick Pony was to open for Montgomery Gentry in Bismark, North Dakota. The band cancelled their meet-and-greet, but they did perform. "Boy did they," said Sid Hardt of Bismark's KQDY-FM. "What a trouper she is." The funeral will be held in California on Monday, Mar. 1.
