Aubrey joined Trick Pony mainstays Keith Burns and Ira Dean earlier this year, after replacing original lead vocalist Heidi Newfield, who left in 2006 to pursue a solo career. The threesome wrote several songs together but did not release a single or CD. “I really enjoyed my time working with Keith and Ira,” said Aubrey. “I have always believed I am a solo artist and I have to pursue my gut feelings.” With Heidi as the lead singer, Trick Pony scored such hits as “Pour Me” and “On a Night Like This.”
