TRAVIS TRITT HELPS A NEEDY FAMILY

Tonight Travis Tritt will play a benefit concert in Douglas County, Ga. The event aims to raise money for the two young daughters of Douglas County Deputy Blake Gammill, who was killed in the line of duty on February 24. The eight-year veteran was shot during the arrest of a former deputy for violating conditions of his bond in a child molestation case. Travis' acoustic concert, at the Lithia Springs High School gym, is one of several benefits to raise money for Deputy Gammill's daughters, 3-year-old Haven and 18-month-old Jewel Grace. Others include a memorial fund at the First Commerce Community Bank in Douglasville and the raffle of a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Donations to the memorial fund, established for the girls in Deputy Gammill's honor, can be sent to: The Blake Gammill Memorial Fund c/o First Commerce Community Bank, 9464 Highway 5, Douglasville, Georgia 30135.
