Tracy Celebrates With His Friends
Tracy Lawrence celebrated his first No. 1 record in more than a decade, “Find Out Who Your Friends Are,” at a party at Nashville’s Cabana restaurant, Aug. 1—with a few famous friends on hand.
Kenny Chesney—who sings a backing vocal on one version of the song along with Tim McGraw—Tracy’s hero George Jones, close friend Joe Diffie, plus Trent Tomlinson and Wade Hayes, all joined Tracy for his big day. “Find out Who Your Friends Are” marked Tracy’s first No. 1 single since “Time Marches On” in 1996. “It took 11 years to get here,” Tracy told the crowd. “It seems more satisfying this time because it has been such a long journey. I am so proud of this record.” The single is from Tracy’s recently released CD, For the Love.
