Trace Says Today’s Generation Is a “Bunch of Brats”

“There’s all this wailing and gnashing of teeth now and protestors,” country star laments.

Trace Adkins performed the song “Tough People Do” at the Republican National Convention. But it wasn't necessarily aimed at Democrats, but rather at all the kids today.

The song says that tough times don't last, but tough people do.

"Today's generation, they really don't know," Trace tells ABC Radio News. "They don't really know [the] sacrifice and discipline and resourcefulness that was required to make it through some of those times before. They just never had to experience that.

"So, there's all this wailing and gnashing of teeth now and protesters and everybody crying and griping about what they don't have," he said. "They're all just a bunch of brats."
