Trace Places Second on Apprentice
Trace Adkins came in second to TV personality Piers Morgan on the two-hour finale of the NBC-TV series The Celebrity Apprentice, March 27.
Trace and Piers were the two remaining contestants on the series, where celebrities competed to raise money for their favorite charities. The finale featured an auction, which Piers won by raising $300,000 to Trace’s $60,000.
The $250,000 first place prize will go to Morgan’s charity, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which helps families of fallen U.S. soldiers.
