Trace, Kristin Chenoweth to Co-host ACAs

Fox’s fan-voted country awards show goes into a second year.

Looks like the Fox TV network enjoyed hosting a country music awards show last year, because Fox is bringing it back. The second American Country Awards will happen Dec. 5 at 8 p.m., airing from Las Vegas, as it did for its debut last year.

Producers have announced this year’s hosts, Trace Adkins and TV/Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth, who, not uncoincidentally, will release her first country album Sept. 13.

Fox managed to land some pretty big star power last year, including Alan Jackson, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum and Reba McEntire, so it’ll be interesting to see what goes down this year.
