TRACE CELEBRATES—READY FOR MORE

Trace Adkins had literally a million reasons to celebrate on Tuesday evening, Feb. 21.

The husky singer hosted a festive music industry party to honor the million-selling success of his CD Songs About Me, which produced the smash single "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk." A gracious Trace insisted, though, that it wasn't all "about me." He told the crowd, "It takes a lot of people to make this happen." And it looks like Trace is gearing up for more reasons to party. Country Weekly has learned that Trace is currently in the studio working on a new CD project, which may be out by summer, with a single from that project coming soon. We will keep you posted on Trace's new tracks.
