Trace Adkins and wife Rhonda were in New York City to tape The Celebrity Apprentice when Hurricane Sandy began to pelt the Eastern Seaboard with wind and rain. In fact, the couple's hotel was adjacent to a building under construction when a crane that hovered above the 65-story building collapsed.

Trace and Rhonda both tweeted photos of their view from their hotel, which was uncomfortably close to the crane. Rhonda also tweeted a photo of the lines at a New York grocery store that had run out of bottled water.

Throughout the day, country stars, including Brad Paisley, have been tweeting their thoughts and prayers to those on the East Coast about to endure the Category 1 superstorm. Brad wrote, "Everybody in that path of that storm, please be safe. Wow, that thing is scary looking on radar."
