Trace Adkins Plans New Album Release

Trace Adkins may come across as a bit of a fighter on NBC's All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, but the big man is, above all, a lover. He'll put his sensitive side up on display for his 11th studio album, Love Will . . . , due in spring from Show Dog-Universal Music.

But definitely don't expect Love Will . . . to be a straightforward collection of romantic tunes from the guy who sang "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk." “This is an album of love songs, but in my book ‘Hot Mama’ and ‘Badonkadonk’ are love songs!" says Trace. "So don’t start thinking these are all ‘I’ll love you 'til the end of time’ ballads . . . but yeah, we’ve got those, too.”

Fans should be happy to know that Trace is off to a great start on Celebrity Apprentice, handily winning his first challenge and a big sum for the American Red Cross. Visitors to his website can pre-order the new album as well as complete a series of tasks for the chance to win an array of prizes, including a trip to the live finale of Celebrity Apprentice or an expenses-paid Caribbean cruise aboard the Norwegian Pearl with Country Cruising 2014.
