Trace Adkins Picks Up Another “Celebrity Apprentice” Win

After a scare last week, Trace Adkins picked up his second win as project manager on Sunday’s (April 14) episode of the all-star season of Celebrity Apprentice.

And Trace Adkins did it by starring in a silent movie in the role of a caveman, which both Donald Trump Jr. and Trace himself agreed wasn’t much of a stretch.

“I basically am a housebroken caveman,” Trace said.

The challenge: To create a minute-long silent movie promoting a suntan skin-care line. Trace was project manager, and he basically came up with the script himself: A caveman suddenly thrust into 2013 discovers life is more colorful with this line of skin-care products.

“You put a caveman in a modern situation, you've got comedy,” Trace explained. “Cavemen are always funny.”

The judges agreed, and Trace—who looks like a serious contender to win the whole thing—picked up another $40,000 for his charity, the American Red Cross.
