Trace Adkins Lines Up Summer Tour

Following hiatus, Trace returns to the road.

It’s been a rough year for Trace Adkins after a cruise ship scuffle with an impersonator, a trip to rehab, the death of his father and, most recently, his divorce from wife Rhonda. But things are looking up as the country star prepares to embark on a string of summer tour dates.

“I’m excited, recharged and ready to get back on the road,” he says in a release. “I owe a debt of gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of encouragement and support over the past few months. It’s hard to put into words how much comfort you take from hearing, ‘We’ve got your back.’ So these shows are for you guys. Thanks.”

His upcoming tour isn’t Trace’s first major public appearance since his string of personal setbacks. Earlier in May, he attended the Hollywood premiere of his newest movie, Moms’ Night Out, starring Sean Astin, Sarah Drew and Patricia Heaton. More recently, he visited New York City to help Macy’s kick off their “American Icons” campaign in support of the Got Your 6 efforts for veterans and military families.

Welcome back, Trace!
