Trace Adkins Escapes Again on “Celebrity Apprentice”

Trace Adkins made the final four—barely—on last night's (May 5) episode of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.

Trace got pounded from the jump on a task to convert an arena suite into a party place. His project manager, Marilu Henner (of TV show Taxi fame), called Trace a curmudgeon who was operating at a no-energy pace that was “one notch above death.”

Trace did, however, deliver Hunter Hayes for the party entertainment, one of the only things the bosses liked about his team’s party suite.

So when Trace’s team lost, Marilu gunned for Trace: “He dropped out three tasks ago,” she told Donald Trump, the decider.

Trump fired Marilu instead, but he agreed that Trace has lacked energy during the last few tasks.

Will Trace power through to make the final two again, as he did the first time he was on Celebrity Apprentice? The battle royale begins this Sunday (May 12) on NBC.
