Early holiday album release, last-minute holiday shopping.

Just before the calendar page turned to Halloween, Trace Adkins released his first Christmas album, The King’s Gift. Sure, Christmas is a little ways off, but the early release date gives fans plenty of time to go out and buy the album and enjoy it at all their holiday events. No rush at all!

That's not really the case for Trace when it comes to Christmas shopping, though. He admits to Country Weekly that he isn't into the Black Friday tradition, but he will get around to making his list and checking it twice. “There is no excuse good enough to get a man out of Christmas shopping, even if you do it at 10 o’clock on Christmas Eve,” Trace growls. “I have run down to Walgreens at 10 on Christmas Eve—‘Y'all got any cards left? Candy or some s--t?’”

Of course, he’s teasing!

We think.

Ho, ho, ho?
