TRACE ADKINS BOOSTS SPIRITS AT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

Trace Adkins spent a day at Vanderbuilt Children's hospital recently, visiting with the young patients there.

Adkins spent some time with each child, says the staff at the hospital. But one youngster in particular was overjoyed to meet the country singer, breaking out into a huge grin because he was "meeting a real cowboy for the first time."

Trace will appear on ABC-TV's "Politically Incorrect" on Tuesday night.
