Trace Adkins, Big & Rich to Help Fox News Ring in New Year

Country's Celebrity Apprentice alums to reunite—without the Donald—in New York's Times Square.

Move over, Ryan Seacrest (host of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve)—looks like Fox News Channel is invading Times Square on New Year's Eve, and the network is using Trace Adkins and Big & Rich to help.

Fox News Channel's Megyn Kelly and Bill Hemmer will host the live All American New Year show from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. ET on New Year's Eve, and the cast of the hot Broadway production of Rock of Ages will also join the party.

If organizers included Clint Black, then all three of the country Celebrity Apprentice contestants would be on the same show. But it looks like Trace and show winner John Rich will have to go it alone.

Viewers will be able to join the party by texting messages that will appear on a screen ticker throughout.
