Trace Adkins’ “Apprentice” Team Wins Despite Criticism

Trace Adkins continued what looks to be his march toward the finals on the all-star season of Celebrity Apprentice. But he did hit a few speed bumps in the boardroom during Sunday night's (April 28) episode.

Trace once again contributed the main idea for his team's project, a video to promote a line of “smart appliances” that you can operate with your phone. The country star suggested, in a switch from the norm, that a middle-aged mom show her teenaged son how to use the newfangled tech stuff.

But Trace only said hi and goodbye to the client when the client met with his team. And Donald Trump himself accused Trace of purposely flying under the radar.

No matter—Trace’s team won, so he wasn’t eligible for elimination.

And Trace did continue to deliver the show's best laughs.

“Smart refrigerator,” Trace demurred to the camera. “I want mine to just say, ‘Go away, you’re too fat. Thought you were on a diet. The ice cream’s not for you, fat ass!’”
