Top Writers Perform in Carriage House Music Series

Carolyn Dawn Johnson and more top Music Row songwriters will perform in a unique event, the Carriage House Music Series II, at Belle Meade Plantation in Nashville, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m.

Tim Nichols (“Live Like You Were Dying”). Rivers Rutherford (“Living in Fast Forward”) and Brett James (“Jesus, Take the Wheel”) are also scheduled to perform at the historic mansion’s Carriage House, which dates back to the 1890s. The evening will include a Southern-style meal prepared by Nashville’s famed Loveless Café and a cocktail hour. This marks the second event in the series, which concludes Oct. 17 with a show featuring Bill Anderson, Jimmy Dean and other stars.
