TONIGHT IS GRAMMY NIGHT

The 44th Annual Grammy Awards will be presented tonight, and some of country music's hottest stars are among the nominees.

Leading the women with five nominations is Alison Kraus. Among Alison's nominations are in the categories of: Best Country Vocal Performance/Duo or Group, Best Country Collaboration With Vocals.

The men are led by Tim McGraw, who has three nominations in the categories of: Best Male Country Vocal Performance, Best Country Album, and Best Country Collaboration With Vocals.

Jamie O'Neal has a good chance of winning her first Grammy Award tonight -- two of her three nominations are in the Best Country Song category.

Willie Nelson will be honored at this year's festivities as well -- his 1975 album "Red Headed Stranger" is to be inducted into the Recording Academy's Hall of Fame.
