TOBY'S THE MAINE EVENT

Toby Keith continues to define the word "superstar." Last Saturday he sold out a concert in Portland, Maine, in two minutes and 45 seconds. A second show was added to due to overwhelming demand, and it also immediately sold out. Nearly 200 of Toby's dedicated fans waited outside the Cumberland County Civic Center overnight in sub-zero temperatures - and some had camped out for two days to buy tickets! This record-breaking ticket sell-out is a first for country music in the state of Maine - but it's only the latest success for Toby's "Shock 'N Y'all Tour," which runs through February. Toby's shows in Baltimore, Md., and Uncasville, Conn., also sold out in minutes.
