TOBY WRAPS UP FILMING

Toby Keith has wrapped up filming for his upcoming movie, Angel From Montgomery, scheduled for release in 2006.

Toby is making his movie acting debut, and he reveals that he has been offered several scripts in the past. But Toby always declined. "One of my best friends in Hollywood, Warren Littlefield, who had a lot of success with TV sitcoms, has been trying to get me to do the TV thing for the last five years," says Toby. But he turned down all the offers because of the time commitment away from music. The movie, however, was something he thought he could handle. "This script came in and everybody was jumping through hoops about it," says Toby. "It was one of those deals where you look at it and go, 'Hey, I really like this.'" Angel From Montgomery also stars movie veterans Burt Reynolds and Kelly Preston, along with Willie Nelson.
