TOBY TOURS FOR THE TROOPS

This weekend Toby Keith heads overseas to Germany and Kosovo to perform for American soldiers. Toby will be joined by rocker Ted Nugent. For Toby, it's a trip he's proud to make. "I know the troops really well," he says. "They come to my shows every night. They're missing arms, legs and burnt beyond recognition. They'll show up with an old, torn up, dusty CD cover and say, 'I want you to sign this. At every checkpoint, we stepped out, we saluted and played this song.' If it means that much to them, I don't give a damn what anybody thinks about it." For security reasons, Toby's specific itinerary is unknown. But in addition to Germany and Kosovo, he'll be visiting Naples, Italy, the Balkans and possibly even the Middle East.
