Toby Keith is the top money-maker in country music, according to the recent list in Forbes magazine.

The singer earned his ranking by raking in $48 million through a combination of his music and songwriting with his restaurant ownership. Rascal Flatts took the second spot, followed by Tim McGraw. Kenny Chesneyand Brooks & Dunn complete the top five. Rounding out the top ten are Brad Paisley, Faith Hill, Keith Urban, George Strait and Alan Jackson. Concert grosses, merchandise revenue, album sales, and income from endorsement and licensing deals went into the Forbes totals.
