TOBY SCREENS MOVIE FOR TROOPS

Toby Keith’s upcoming movie Broken Bridges is set to premiere nationwide Sept. 8—but U.S, troops overseas have already received a sneak peek.

Troops stationed in Iraq, Kuwait and other points in the Middle East were given special screenings of the movie between Aug. 11 and Aug. 13. The advance showings mark the first time that a major feature has been released to remote military installations prior to the U.S. release date. Toby recently completed his fourth USO tour of military bases this summer, spanning nearly three weeks over four continents. Broken Bridges, which also stars Kelly Preston and Burt Reynolds, has a special premiere in Nashville Sept. 7, before hitting theaters the following day.
