Toby Plans More Movies

Toby Keith plans on acting in movies more often after the success of his 2006 film debut Broken Bridges.

“I’m going to try to do a movie every other year,” he tells Neil Haislop’s Nashville IQ. “It’s about all I can do. It’s real time-consuming, a lot more than people want to believe it is.” Toby adds that he is working on a script based on his hit single “Beer for My Horses.” He says, “I’m going to do a whole motion picture on it. I’ve just got to get off my lazy butt and finish the script.” Broken Bridges played to mostly positive reviews and has found additional success on DVD and in television airings on CMT.
