Toby Pays Tribute to Elvis
Toby Keith and Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry will join forces onstage in Buffalo, N.Y., Aug. 24, to tape a performance for an upcoming ABC News special on the 30th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death.
Footage from Toby’s Big Dog Daddy Tour will be featured in the special, Elvis: Viva Las Vegas, airing on ABC-TV, Sept. 18. The two-hour program chronicles how Elvis reinvented himself when he started playing Las Vegas in 1969.Toby and other top recording stars will perform Elvis’ Vegas classics, woven in with previously unreleased music and documentary footage of Elvis’ Vegas years, never before seen on television.
