TOBY KEITH'S A WANTED MAN

These days, everybody wants Toby Keith - even Hollywood. Toby tells the Tucson Citizen that he's gotten offers for sitcoms from every major TV network and HBO - as often as "a script a week." But the busy touring superstar admits he doesn't have the time right now to give to an acting role. "They want a five-year commitment for 22 shows a year," explains Toby. However, Toby does reveal that he possibly has a movie project with actor Robert Duvall about rodeo life in the works. As for another passion of Toby's - politics - don't expect him to be running for office in the future. "Too much lying goes on in that world," he says. "You have to be diplomatic about how you handle yourself. I'd end up smacking somebody."
