Toby Keith has sold over one million concert tickets -- and he owes it to a concert that might have never happened.

A few years ago, Toby was disappointed with attendance at a concert in his hometown in Oklahoma -- so much so that he debated whether he would ever perform in the town again.

However, Toby had a change of heart, and last Friday played at the Ford Center to a sold-out crowd. The 15,000 people that showed up for the show made it possible for Toby to now declare that his Unleashed tour has sold over 1 million tickets.

Also making the event special was the opening performance -- Toby's daughter Krystal Covel started the show with a rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner."
