Toby Keith Postpones Show After Gallbladder Removed

Gretchen Wilson and others will play the gig at Fort McCoy, but Toby says he'll go back there Aug. 30.

Toby Keith is a tough guy. How tough is he?

The country superstar had his gallbladder removed Monday (July 30), and he plans to be back in concert Friday (Aug. 3) at a festival in Minnesota, according to his website.

But he is postponing an appearance at military base Fort McCoy in Sparta, Wis., that's set for Thursday (Aug. 2). Gretchen Wilson and others will perform for the troops that night, but Toby has promised to come back to that base Aug. 30.

Toby had a gallbladder attack sometime after finishing a show Sunday night (July 29) outside Buffalo, N.Y. He had an oupatient procedure the next day, several media outlets reported.

Word is he'll be as good as he once was.
