Toby Keith Is “Country Music’s $500 Million Man”

Entrepreneurial star lands on the cover of Forbes.

He's got a restaurant chain (I Love This Bar & Grill), a big song catalog, a huge Ford endorsement deal, his own liquor label and 10 percent of Taylor Swift's record label Big Machine through a partnership with his Show Dog Universal label. And Toby Keith can still gross a million bucks a night on the road.

Forbes magazine has put Toby Keith on its cover, declaring him "country music's $500 million man."

The magazine estimates that Toby made $65 million in just the last year alone, putting him in fourth place among musicians, behind Madonna, Lady Gaga and Bon Jovi. That means Toby pulled in more money during this past year than Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Jennifer Lopez.

Heck, Toby even outearned country music darling Taylor Swift, who reportedly brought in $55 million (and a guest appearance on a Rolling Stones concert stage) in the past 12 months.
