Toby Forced to Cancel Canadian Date

Singer was on site, but laryngitis caused cancellation.

Toby Keith was forced to cancel his appearance at the Big Valley Jamboree in Camrose, Alberta, Canada, on Sunday (July 31) due to vocal problems. Ronnie Dunn, who was also on the bill, added songs to his set to make up for Toby's inability to perform.

"Laryngitis & doc’s advice forced me to cancel my show at BVJ," Toby wrote on his Twitter account. "Hate that I had to do that. Thx to Ronnie Dunn 4 extending his set & thanks to u all 4 ur get well messages."

Toby is recovering and his vocal issues will not force him to cancel any other dates on his Locked & Loaded Tour, according to his publicist. Toby's next show is Aug. 4 in Sacramento, Calif.
