TOBY A CMA NO-SHOW

Toby Keith will not be attending the CMA Awards show next Tuesday, Nov. 15, citing a conflict with the new movie he's currently shooting.

Toby is making a movie in Atlanta called Angel From Montgomery. In addition to starring in the film, Toby is involved with the production of the soundtrack, and those double duties will keep him from attending. Toby and the CMA insist that his decision has nothing to do with his feelings toward the CMA or its voters, which have only awarded him once during his career despite 23 nominations. The other four nominees—Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Alan Jackson—are expected to be on hand.
