TOBY CARRIES USO TORCH

As Toby Keith looks back on 2004, he's most proud of supporting the troops with his music and visiting them overseas. "Soldiers, they've been everything to me," said Toby. "They show up at my shows every night, their families show up. I represent a piece of American pie for them that is way beyond anything I ever intended or counted on. There's a lot of sad times in our camp because we see the reality at the hospitals and go to Baghdad or Afghanistan and see it first hand. Toby hopes to return every spring to support the troops. "That's my goal now, each spring is to make the USO thing, kinda pick the torch up where Bob Hope left off," he said. "Bob Hope used to do a great job of taking care of our soldiers and the USO is a great organization, first class and so we're just going to go and run with that every Spring."
