It was a big night for Toby Keith and new sensation Carrie Underwood at the Billboard Music Awards, held Tuesday night, Dec. 6, in Las Vegas.
Toby captured two honorsCountry Artist of the Year and Country Album Artist of the Year for Greatest Hits 2. Carrie, the reigning American Idol champ who's climbing the country charts with "Jesus, Take the Wheel," won three Billboard Music Awards, including Country Singles Sales Artist of the Year. Toby performed "Let's Get Drunk and Be Somebody" with his rocking 14-piece band, while Carrie chose to sing "Some Hearts," the title cut from her debut CD.
