TIM’S MOVIE PLAYS FOR PRESS

Tim McGraw’s new movie Flicka was previewed for members of the Nashville media Wed., Sept. 21, and drew positive comments from reporters.

“The buzz in the lobby following the movie was that McGraw has another hit on his hands, with a strong follow-up to his critically acclaimed performance in Friday Night Lights,” reports X Radio. Tim plays a father in this film as well, and has an extremely moving scene where he’s sitting up all night with his sick daughter, waiting for her fever to break. “It’s based on the old book My Friend Flicka, but it’s adapted. It’s a very, very touching story,” Tim says. The movie premieres in theaters nationwide Oct. 20.
