Tim McGraw performed a generous scoop of songs from his upcoming album, Two Lanes of Freedom, to an enthusiastic music industry crowd in Nashville Wednesday night.

Guests enjoyed cocktails from both traditional and whiskey-exclusive bars, along with a yummy mac-and-cheese bar, before the real refreshments began in the form of an energetic set from Tim's labelmates The Mavericks.

Tim kicked off his own performance with a triplet of hits, including "Felt Good on My Lips," "For a Little While" and "Let It Go." He then rolled into a series of new music from Two Lanes of Freedom, including "Mexicoma," which he performed this summer on the Brothers of the Sun Tour, and the compelling new "Nashville Without You," an instant crowd favorite. In one of the most exciting moments of the night, Tim welcomed his R&B pal Ne-Yo to the stage to perform their duet "Only Human," which will appear on Two Lanes. They also sang "She Is," from Ne-Yo's album R.E.D., out this month.

Before the evening was over, Tim was recognized as the most-played country artist in the past 20 years by Nielsen-BDS tracking system, while Mediabase saluted him as the most-played country artist in their organization's history. And this morning (Nov. 1), he received more great news when it was announced that his duet with Kenny Chesney, "Feel Like a Rock Star," was an early CMA award winner for Musical Event of the Year.

Two Lanes of Freedom is currently slated for a February release.
