Tim to Play Charity Trail Ride

Tim McGraw will join the lineup for the 2nd Annual Halfway to Hazard Charity Trail Ride, Aug. 22 and 23, in the hills of Eastern Kentucky.

The event features a weekend of music and an ATV ride. Tim will perform along with event host Halfway to Hazard, Dierks Bentley, Danielle Peck, Gabe Garcia, and Krista Marie to help raise money to benefit Buckhorn Children’s and Family Center in Crockettsville, Ky. Special appearances will be made by NASCAR legend Kyle Petty, country stars James Otto and Keith Anderson and Motorcross great Ricky Carmichael, who will participate in the ATV ride. Last year’s inaugural event raised more than $110,000 for Buckhorn Children’s and Family Center, an organization committed to caring for suffering children and families in Kentucky and in Ohio. Halfway to Hazard’s Chad Warrix comments, “Growing up in Eastern Kentucky, riding these trails was a way of life and, along with playing music, our main source of entertainment. Coupling a ride with a concert where we grew up while being able to give back to our community is a dream come true.” For more information on the event, visit halfwaytohazard.com.
