TIM PAYS TRIBUTE TO TUG

Today Tim McGraw and his buds the Warren Brothers are performing a benefit concert in Tallahassee, Fla. to raise funds for Florida State University. Presented by Bud Light as the pre-show to Saturday's FSU-Florida football game in Tallahassee, the concert hopes to raise $700,000 for construction of a new career center and an endowed baseball scholarship in the name of Tim's late father, Tug McGraw. Tim told The Tallahassee Democrat that Tug "would be very proud of this scholarship. Just to know that some kid would get a chance to go to school in his name at a place like FSU would make him happy. The only way some kids get to go to school is through scholarships like this." In addition to the concert, Tim, Brad and Brett will give an exclusive pre-show party, where they've also donated one-of-a-kind items for a silent auction.
