Tim McGraw, who is making the rounds to promote his new film, Country Strong, made a stop last night (Jan. 5) on NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Among the topics the pair talked about were Tim's passion for high school football, his new No. 1 single and how he was "pissed" how well Country Strong co-star Garrett Hedlund learned to sing.

Tim and Jimmy, who referred to Tim as "Timmy,"  also played a friendly (and hilarious) game of "ladder balls."
