That Tim McGraw has a way with words.

Did you catch him Monday night (Feb. 3) on NBC’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit show? Tim and his band performed his latest single, “Lookin’ for That Girl.”

And Tim is a married man, ya know. So he chose his words wisely when describing what it was like to tape a show dedicated to the swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated.

“Certainly, as a kid growin’ up, I remember getting it and seein’ it. You know, you got Sports Illustrated all through the year, with football and basketball season,” Tim told reporters.

Yes, and . . . ?

“And as an athlete growin’ up, too, you’re always payin’ attention to that.”

OK . . .

“But, there was certainly somethin’ special about the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue that we don’t need to go into detail about.”

Ha!

“But it was cool bein’ there.”

We bet!
