Tim McGraw talked about his new album, shared his favorite hobby and revealed his workout routine in a Q&A session with fans for an upcoming edition of the SiriusXM Town Hall series. The event, hosted by frequent CW contributor Storme Warren, was held at the SiriusXM Music Theatre at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Monday afternoon (Jan. 28).

The episode will air the day before the release of Tim's upcoming Two Lanes of Freedom album, which Tim called "a great collection of songs" and said carries a "sense of optimism." Several fans were given the chance to ask Tim one question apiece and many concerned his personal life with wife Faith Hill and their three daughters. One fan asked how he and Faith maintain a "balance" of family life and career. "The key is not worrying about balance," Tim began. "The family always comes first." Tim drew laughs when another fan asked what Tim might be doing for a living if he were not an entertainer. "Probably holding a sign somewhere," he deadpanned. Turning serious, Tim noted that he would have enjoyed coaching high school sports and teaching history.

Tim, looking especially trim for 45, also revealed that he makes it a point to stay in top physical shape. "Part of my routine is working out every morning," he said, adding that keeping fit is part of his job as an entertainer. "When I'm getting ready for a tour," he said, "I will do a couple hours of workouts three times a day." To another question of his favorite hobby, Tim answered that he enjoys flying. "A couple years ago, I started doing it," Tim said. He has "a couple hundred" hours under his belt, he added.

During the session, fans were treated to short segments of a few songs from Two Lanes of Freedom, including the title track and the current single, "One of Those Nights."

SiriusXM's Town Hall With Tim McGraw will air on SiriusXM's The Highway, Monday, Feb. 4, at 4 p.m. ET.
