Tim McGraw to Release Christmas Single

“Christmas All Over the World” out next week.

The wait is almost over for fans who want new music from Tim McGraw. After Tim's legal win earlier in the week, he'll release two new songs in the coming months.

"Next week I'm putting out a holiday song I’ve just recorded called 'Christmas All Over the World,' Tim says in a statement released to CountryWeekly.com. "After the first of the year I’ll have a brand-new single which I can hardly wait to share with everyone. I am so appreciative of the support I’ve received over the years, and I’m looking forward to this next chapter of my career."

Ironically, Curb Records released their own Tim McGraw single from the Emotional Traffic album, "Better Than I Used to Be," just hours after Tim won the much-publicized court battle against the label. Curb will release the long-delayed Emotional Traffic album on Jan. 17, 2012.

"I fought very hard for the release of Emotional Traffic, it's an album full of music of which I am very proud," Tim says. "It's extremely unfortunate that it wasn't released earlier this year in conjunction with the Emotional Traffic Tour but all I want to do now is focus on the positive and look to the future. I'm really excited about the new music I'm recording."

At least fans will be able to hear Tim's new music live when he embarks on the Brothers of the Sun Tour with longtime friend Kenny Chesney. The tour is set to kick off in June in Tampa, Fla.
