TIM McGRAW: NEW ALBUM IS BEST MUSIC I EVER MADE

For his latest album, Tim McGraw is trying something new.

Usually, an artist records an album with a studio band and tours with an entirely different one -- not this time.

"Tim McGraw and the Dancehall Doctors," due out in stores on November 26th, will feature the Dancehall Doctors themselves -- the very same band that will tour with Tim.

"After seven albums, you just want to try something different," Tim says. "My band has always been a big part of what I do, but that's never been represented in the records until now. The sound that we make on stage is the sound that I always heard in my head when I've made records in the past, so this seemed like the next logical move."

Speaking of moving, Tim hauled the whole band to upstate New York for the recording sessions, to a remote area of the Catskills.

"Making this record topped any musical experience that I've ever had," says Tim. "We were up on top of a mountain, away from our families and away from the music business, just concentrating on making music. It was a very inspiring, creative atmosphere, and everybody really rose to the occasion and gave it everything they had."

And for Tim, the process was so rewarding that he already considers the project a success.

"The whole process of making this record was incredibly fun and fulfilling, so for me it's already a success. It's definitely the best music I've ever made."
