TIM McGRAW ON NEW ALBUM

Tim McGraw's newest release, "Tim McGraw and the Dancehall Doctors," will be released on November 26th.

Tim has described this latest effort as his "most honest" and "earthy."

"We wanted to keep a real organic vibe to it," he says. "I wanted it to sound modern and I didn't want it to sound retro. I wanted it to have that same kind of soul as some of those great seventies albums."

Tim also says that by recording the album on tape, instead of high-tech digital equipment, "just brought out something that made me sing in a more honest and open kind of way."

Also, Tim's first network special -- "Sing Me Home" -- will air on NBC on November 27th at 8 pm ET.
